8. Next, press on 'Check.'
   
9. Give some time to the scanning process as it might take a few minutes.

The method of recovering data by using third party software

1. Firstly, you need to download the utility.
2. Then, you require to install the software.
3. Next, as soon as the installation gets over, press on the 'Start Now' option.
4. After that, take the USB device from which you wish to recover data.
5. Then, press on the 'Scan' option.
6. Note that the software shall look for the lost data.
7. After that, choose the file that you wish to recover.
8. Lastly, press on 'Recover' option.
